Supply-IT

The planning tool Supply-IT schedules your business processes based on real-time information. The planning is event-driven: as new orders come in and existing orders change, the planning reschedules constantly to react swiftly to changes in the market.

Complete planning of all company processes

The planning entails all processes, leaving no margin for errors. All relevant facts and data are collected and defined as generic parameters in the rule-engine. The processes on all levels across all parties form an integrated planning.

The planning generates order strings. The order lines are combined to optimize the planning of production and logistic steps in batches, so the planning does not change completely every time a change is transmitted.

Engineering Formula

Creating a product takes much more than just the Bill of Material (BOM) and the Bill of Work (BOW). The Engineering Formula replaces the fixed routings from the classic systems and makes it possible to generate generic forecasts and
orders.

It takes into account all available parameters such as the material, the required actions, the delivery date ... From the needed capabilities, the system decides which resources are most suited to make the product.

Finite Capacity Planning

During the Material Resource Planning (MRP) step, the runtime and the relative urgency of each order is determined. Meanwhile, the Capacity Requirements Planning (CRP) ensures previous steps are planned before the products are required in a next production and/or logistic step.

The capabilities are determined by the resource and the resource set-up. In the classic approach, MRP and CRP are determined separately and then merged.

Using Supply-IT, MRP and CRP are planned in one step and take each other into account.

An integrated planning is achieved.

Cash Planning

Using the Shape-IT cash planning model, the resources’ optimal capacity can be used through correct and efficient planning. Moreover, the actual completed production is fed back in real-time to Tell-IT. Any changes to the planning immediately change the result and the company’s cash flow.

Because possible capacity leaks are known, they can be avoided. The impact of any modification in the planning can be immediately analysed. This provides the management with a constant clear overview of influences and data.

Rough Cut Capacity Planning

Supply-IT can generate a rough cut capacity plan, taking into account the load from any combination of Work Orders, Sales Orders, Sales Forecast, Production Forecast, Spare Sales Forecast and MRP recommendations. The generated overview makes allowances for any operations that are already in progress.

This way, the load can be analysed. The results are shown in a Gantt chart format and make it possible to examine the load for individual groups, workcenters of time buckets.

Production is modeled to predict possible changes in production requirements.

Worklists are created for skillgroups and work centres.

The rough cut capacity planning is integrated with other modules. The routing module is used to determine the operations and load generated by demands not yet setup as production orders, such as sales forecasts and MRP recommendations. MRP is used to explode requirements for components. Sales orders are processed in the load schedules.
