This way, a supply chain process can extend itself from the supplier of a supplier to the customer of a customer. Functionally, SCM implements transactional execution systems (eg ERP, enterprise resource planning, WMS, warehouse management system, MES, manufacturing execution systems), but also planning and scheduling solutions (APS, Advanced Planning and Scheduling)
