Textile
The textile industry is a unique sector with specific characteristics. We are very aware of this and have extensive experience and knowledge to offer the best solution for your specific situation. PearlChain manages to do so by using implemented systems as a basis. This way we ensure optimization of the processes within your company.
PearlChain offers a solution with:
Collaborative Scheduling
We calculate material consumption and use CAD design files as a basis. During this process we take the thickness of the yarn, number of wefts per inch, the consumption factor, .... into account. This ensures us a full overview of the consumption before production even starts. This reduces inventory and the reorder process is streamlined.
These MR-files are used to calculate the cost of materials, the material requirement planning (MRP), orders to change bobbins.
The calculated MRP is combined with feedback from the production system. This gives us a pick & replace list for "shooters". Moreover, the production is planned in such a way that the number of "shooters" is limited.
By using this data, PearlChain optimizes the process and the entire value chain with all available information from all parts of the business process, in short the entire logistics flow. In this process, we are a trusted advisor: from prior studies to the deployment of custom-made software.
Sales Scenario
All information is available in real time for all parties involved. This has enormous benefits for the company, customers and suppliers. This offers opportunities, for the sales department in particular, that once seemed unthinkable.
Via the internet they have any information that can help to optimize both sales and production. For each production order, sales can immediately see what the planned delivery time is, how high the transport costs will be, what the optimal order quantity is, ... This information can be used during sales negotiation. Moreover, the sales department can adapt its sales on the available capacity accordingly.
